do YOU feel like a NOBODY?

the story of moses.
-he was a prince
-saw his own people suffering, wanted to help
-got banished
-was a nobody for 40years
-this 40years, God was preparing him.
-God can turn a nobody to a somebody

1)God delights in using the odinary.
in exodus 3, you read about the story of moses and the burning bush.

odinary?
-the staff that moses was holding, was the staff which he uses to herd his sheep. but God used that very odianry staff to be a staff of God. the staff that parted the red sea.
-when God came to earth, he only revealed it to the shepherds in their dreams. angels went to odinary shepherds, not prophets, not kings, but shepherds, when Jesus was born.
-when Jesus, at one time, went to save a whole town of people, he first was at the well and reached out to then woman with five husbands. he did not first approach other people, but this woman.
-when Jesus was resurrected, He made it known to a woman.(i think it was mary). He did not announce it to some other special people, but a woman.(woman in those days are seen to be of a lower bring. they dint have the rights of what the man in those days have)

2)God can use what we have in our hands.
whatever we have, God can use it to put it into good use. to help save more people.
in the example in exodus would be exodus 4:2.
when God, in the form of the burning bush, turned the staff in moses hands, into a staff of God. the staff that moses carries with him everywhere.
-God will not hold us accountable for what we do not have.

3)He will use what we give to him in Faith.
whatever that we give him, He can use it. so if we hand everything up into His hands, He can use us more! but if we do not, what can God use us to do?
faith. are we faithful?
in exodus 4:3, moses rann away when he saw the staff turn into a serpent. why? cause he had little faith. God was there, God could easily take the serpent away.
the problem is, humans tend to overlook.
they only see what is infront of them and not the whole picture.

Problems:
problem of spectacular and carnality(worldly or earthly).
-we tend to think God will come in this spectacular way. like the whole place will have fireworks.
or maybe God decends on a cloud and there'll be musics playing and stuff but no!
things are not to be spectacular. the above exmaples have proven so. God delights in the odinary.
- yes, God calls, God resources. but we tend to look into the worldly things. we hold on too much to the things of this world. God resources. God will never call us to do something that He cannot supply. yes, He supply. but He supply to our NEEDS not our wants. so sometimes when you ask, you have to look and check if its your need or your want. if its all wanting too much of the world.
-humans tend to doubt themselves too. when God asks to fufill a purpose, the reply is .." If only i have .... then maybe i could have helped." "If only i was smarter.. than i could do it."

God's way is so so so much bigger than man's understandind. sometimes, whatever that He does, we dont get it at all.
so, we need to believe even when we do not understand the hows and the whys.
believe is not "you show me then i believe you lor" that kind of thing. if it was shown and proved, it'll be called a fact and not believe.

so.. WHAT IS IN YOUR HAND?
an odinary staff?...

yeah, this is the last session notes that i had.
the sessions that were held in pbb.
hope it helped you! :D
