i really want to thank God for this experience.
first thing first.(thats why iots at the top!)

cause really through this pbb camp, i have learnt alot alot alot.it was really great to have some time separated from my 'world' and be at camp and we had devotion and sessions where pastor preach and my mdms that were in charge of us were really caring and they gave alot of meaningful advices that even if i did not get pbb, i think its REALLY a GREEEAAAAT experience.

yeah, i never knew i could enjoy pbb selection camp so much.this must be super contradicting considering the fact that four days ago, i was moaning and whining and complaining to almost everyone.i remembered dreading the camp and thinking "why did i join it in the first place?! i feel soooo lazy, can i pon???" yes, many of the campers had such idea too.

well, on the first day, we were all separated into five groups.love, joy, peace, PATIENCE!!, and kindness.10th and 19th coy people only i think li lin and faith lucky lucky got into the same group lor.the rest, we were ALONEEE. or so i thought...

when we took our bags and went up into our dorms, into the room and choosing the bed where you sleep, it was all awkward-ish. so everyone was... "hi! err, you what company? oh... eh, what school? oh. i see, that school ah. okayokay." the end full stop nothing more.oh, and other times we would like, just smile smile smile.and then asking "erm, you know are we suppose to change now??" or "can we not wear our skirts?".and of course during meal time, lunch, dinner, supper, we would talk to each other by "er, you want SOMEMORE food to eat?i give you mine?" yea.. so by first day dinner almost everyone in my group, PATIENCE!!!, know that i eat alot, and they can count on me for giving me food.

then for every everyy meal, each group would need to finish the food that they take, if got extra is compulsory for each group to take equal amount until no more food. so... they always gave me alot to eat -.- i tio sabo-ed. but the good thing was, by the 3rd day, everyone in Patience know which one is my plate, cup. bahaha.

yea.. so we went through day 1, not really knowing much about each other. making just really small talk and stuff.so, we slept after our group evaluation. in an air conditioned room, with a really thin blanket.and we also went to on our fan, HUGE mistake, cause it was still hot when we went into the room. by the middle of night, TOO cold for us to even move to go adjust the temperature.oh! and we are suppose to plan and organise things for this whole camp right, so the first day we planned GAMES and yea, that planning session kinda really broke the ice for us.so from day 2 onwards, we talk more!

DAY 2...
the normal programme goes like this..
-Rise&shine.(they blow whistle at 6.30 and only can wake up at that time)
-5BX
-Quiet Time
-Breakfast
-Group planning time(where we plan for the things that our group is incharge of)
-Devotion(led by groups, singing worship songs)
-Session(pastor preaches, inspirational talker talks and inspires)
-Lunch

yea, so for day 2, the main highlight was......
URBANNN HIKEEEE.
after a really i-am-still-very-hungry-but-there-is-no-more-food porridge lunch(apparently they wanted us to kniw how the poor lives), we went to the hall to play some team-building games. there were in total around 3 games at that time.after that went to some dont know whaat park where we asked random people where it is and played some mind boggling game that required alot of teamwork.when finally completed, we went to maple woods park which we went one big way round..
and we had to use rubber band to make into s super long skipping rope to skip 5 times in a row for 9 people.2 hold the rope.HARDDD MAN. we totally were exhausted but kept on trying.
through this game, we really encouraged one another, just spuring, to not give up. that we really just do our best. it was really hard to coordinate and some couldnt jump that welll.in the end spent around 1half hour plus at that station. even when the mdms asked us if we should stop and just proceed to the next station, we dint give up but kept on trying, until mdm negotiated that we have 6 people to jump. and we did!
duh, we cheered like crazy. super happy. was super tired.
then we get to buy our own dinner that night. we had $29 to spend as we dint have enough time to buy tea time.
we bought 3 packets of spagetti, mistake again, and insufficient suace. we dint see the mdms hinting to us to buy just 2 packets... oh, and we were suppose to buy including mdms dinner. went back to help cook and prepare sleeping place. that night, we sleep at the voiddeck-ish place beside bball court. our beds were just a layer of card board.. and int the end, we fulllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll like dont knnow what. they piled my plate with so much noodles, its like some mountain.then we still had sausage, dessert. abit siao. we all stuffed ourselves. with those spagetti with white spagetti sauce that was too little. ewew, but we did it! and supper was our duty, so we were the last group that lights out.

during the night... woke up, left leg was totally numbed diao. freak out, started massaging left leg. sleep. twist. turn. flip. turn. hand numb-ed, unnumb-ed it. turn turn sleep. wake up. back pain. super cold, no blanket, jacket anything. almost froze.

so.. DAY 3.this is saturday and we had 3 duties to do. it is our busy day!oh, before i go on, we also need to have dorm inspection at the end of the day and stuff, like the mdms expectations are very high. willl go into detail later~

so, 5BX, we took it and... we asked them do squat jumps like here to there, and everyone was tired like WOOOOSH cause day 2 urban hike & skipping. so thats why my thigh muscles ache until dont know what. i cant bend down, i go down staircases will pain. if bend wrongly, pain like aaghhhhh!!! yea..then we also had devotion. but on day 3, much mroe improvement. like during meal times, we were able to talk to each other, with the fellow group mate that we are sitting near to. we just eat and talk real naturally about our own lives. really really cool. will neverforget PATIENCE group people. and we also had erm supper duty that night. anyway, for dorm inspection. mdm was really proud of us, that we did do a great job. supper was fun. kinda?then we talked with ms thio and ms chan(the mdms in charge of our grp) like during evaluation time til quite late. 11plus.. 12. (normally lights out at 11.00) cause it was our last night there, and we were all "ohnoooo 4D3N so fast. i will miss you guys like dont know what!!!" and the ms chan and ms thio really gave us alot of useful advice that we i trully must thank them for. they were really caring. so real late, the mdms super nice, say give us 5min lights out, HELP US TO WASH OUR CUPS!!! but in the end they dint even check if we lights out already.

oh! and we also had special night where we had to act out skit, and iwas playing the role as a mdm. the theme was Looking Back. and and in the skit, i walk pass sec 1 girls then they in chinese "ni kan! na ge mam she ma lai ren leh!" then im suppose to say "NI SHUO SHEN ME?" sec1 girls suppose to be shocked im nt malay. -.- this role, thanks to random group members. also got one part where the sec1s "grow" to sec 3s, then they do drill and i went "WAH, HEN HAO!" everyone laughed. still got someone asked :"you're not really a malay right??".i. almost. fainted. of course not!

DAY 4.doing the daily that we got used to. but after dorm inspection we had time to change into full u. and then had area cleaning inspection with full u. and had devotion. session. lunch. photo taking. exchange info. etc.

and i realised, im not really dearly missed eventhough i was kinda homesick.. :Plike i only got 1 person msging me about my pbb. 1 person called me. the other 2 that messaged me were about other matters. and 1 was unpleasant and i sincerely apologise that it had totally slipped my mind. but whatever, at least ning was really curious about my camp.

------
i remembered the pastor said that,IT IS POSSIBLE FOR GUYS TO LIKE MORE THAN 1 GIRL AT THE SAME TIME. to all the girls out there, becareful. cause thats just kinda, dao wei you know? so he was saying that the marriage vow is sacred and when pastor said I DO, it was kinda like saying no to all the other woman out there.

and also, just do your thing once and do it well.might as well do it well and nice rather than doing it again and again and again due to "the thing being nt handled that well"yup. so the camp, it was really high expectations.though they ditn really punish us, they gave us super high expectations.like in your dorm everyon must standardize uniform all hang where, all the haversack, cap positioned same. AND THE GB THING AT THE POCKET SUPPOSE TO BE TOUCHING LINE OF THE POCKET THING NOT RIGHT SMACK IN THE MIDDLE !!!! and the bed, no creases at all. just real high expectations.

but im glad through this camp i learnt alot of values.a whole new thing about God and Jesus, and also about initiative, caring for others, others before self, sensitivity, thinking for others, sense of urgency, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithful ETC. really wanto thaank God once again. i really dint regret. never knew it could bring so much fun in me.

God had definitely shown me alot during this camp. that im not alone.that God is always there.that we cannot be selfish.we need to bear fruit, reaching to the others.

AND, since most girls are like from the east side good sch, they sing the devotion song all the abit oldies type one. serious!! they told me thier songs and i was :" HUH..?" and i told them about my type of p&w songs and they were like, HUH?. so woah, cool huh. having different background and stuff.

oh, oh, so theres, janelle(charlene's elder sis), junie, hui qing, tricia, yvonne, chew min, kezia, joong yan, amanda, rebeka.really glad to know them and i MEMORISES ALL OF THEIR NAMES@@@@@@@
thank God.ms thio also set up a pbb fb, so we have pics in there ^^

alright. cant think of other things le, mayb shall add other things another time.
long post! hope God has blessed you too!bye(:

p/s: pbb is tiring but reaaaaal fun.
