Side track: saw this while googling on some uhh pet forum.
Pets are good for kids. I think it teaches them compassion and responsibility. I think people who refuse to allow their kids any pets are doing a huge disfavor to the kids.
I don't agree with breeding though. Especially of dogs and cats. There are already too many in shelters who need homes.
Or maybe a Malamute would be awesome!
